Riffle Types
Although so many types of air guns on the market, but most types of airguns is divided into 4 categories:
- MATCH GUN
- The Target Field
- Hunting Gun(Hunting)
- Sports Gun (sports)
Match gun, which is also known as 10 m rifle, shotgun which is often seen as the shooter in the Olympics rifle, the rifle is generally not stomping, use the peep sight and have the ability to put one by one pellet in the same hole within 10 meters (about 11 yards). Now all of these types of rifles in the design without pounding. In the past, this rifle is dominated by design recoilles spring, so many guns designed as precharged pneumatic. CO2 rifles are very popular at that time, but CO2 is more difficult to set its accuracy compared with compressed air.
Pneumatic single stroke is also popular for some time, this is because of its accuracy and at least the beat. Unlike spring guns that can cause strained muscles after cocked and at the time of shooting.
All rifle 10 m calibrated by using the peep sights without optical or other types are allowed.
In the sport of shooting at the Olympics, the use of a telescopic sight is allowed. This branch is known as a running boar intended for shooting fast-moving target. This rifle is almost similar to the rifle 10 m, but using peluruyang longer and heavier (to make more subtle swing) can use a telescopic sight.
Field guns targetsTarget field guns is a sport which originated in England. This exercise uses the target in the form of small iron shaped like animals placed
lined up in such a way that an unknown distance, usually arranged like in the jungle.
The target is to have sebuang holes generally measure ¼ "and 2" at the back of the form of iron discs. The scoring system is done when the pellets pass through the hole, and on discs that directly trigger a mechanism that will hit the target. Practice will be more difficult than the above, therefore the mechanical connection between the disc and the target weight, although only a portion of the pellets that touches the surface of the target, but both will interlock and not fall.
Traditionally, the target field appears with many variations of shapes and styles, for the purposes of this rifle competitions are generally divided into two categories:
- Spring piston, this type most often encountered as an air rifle with the beat. Piston spring classes are often divided into standard categories and modification. Standard rifle available without modification of factory-made version. The rifle modifications can be found in the form of a modified or custom stock.
- Recoilles, commonly called precharged, but can also include recoilless rifle spring, although usually this type in their own category.
Target field guns have a more powerful force than the match gun in terms of know over the target metal. The use of both limited to a maximum 12 foot / pounds (UK) or 18-20 foot / pounds (competition in the US), this restriction is intended to avoid competition turns into a race strength, and avoid targets get "too severe punishment". Strength of airguns in the UK is limited to 12 ft / lbs unless rifle which has been certified firearms. In practice, this restriction is considered good.
When the higher-powered rifles have a more flat trajectory, shooting should be easier to do at a distance that is not known, but the guns of this type are usually not sufficiently accurate than lower-powered rifle reply. The best shooter that uses a spring gun prefers to use a gun at a force of about 10.5 ft / lbs.
Everyone can use telescopic sights on the target field - at least if they want to get a chance to gain value.
Scopes are not only used to look at the target, but also to find the range. Scopes with an objective focus settings can be used to determine the distance to the target, and the distance can then be used to calculate a holdover or under, or to dial a correction to the scope of the turret.
SHOTGUN
This category covers a broader type of rifle, but generally this rifle is a rifle with a simple stocks, good accuracy, and at least has a muzzle energy of 10 foot-pounds. Shotguns generally use a telescopic sight for a low power projectiles such as pellets require very accurate placement to ensure rapid killing effect. Game animals are most often hunted with a pellet gun is rabbits, squirrels, mice and similar rodents and crows.
Sporting rifleThese include other types. Beeman R7 is a rifle that is small, lightweight, and accurate, easy to fire and easy to cocked. Muzzle energy of 7 ft / lbs is very light for any hunting, and hunting should be the smallest animals (squirrels?) And in a very short range. Although very accurate, rifle type is not suitable for race competition 10 m, and also too underpowered for the target field. Rifle of this type can be used in paper targets or targets small and fragile like Necco wafers. By using iron sight, rifle shooting well in this type of underground or possibly in the living room. The rifle is quite easy to be cocked and everyone can do it. This rifle is suitable as entertainment.
